Bringing the hidden into focus.
At Xambika, we uncover the unseen causes of pregnancy loss and implantation failure by understanding problems with the endometrium to guide targeted, evidence-based care.
How it started
In 2003, Professor Jan J. Brosens, a global authority in reproductive medicine, reviewed a patient who conceived easily but miscarried repeatedly. If implantation was successful, what was failing? That question led Jan and his team—first at the Imperial College London and now the University of Warwick—to study the endometrium in depth. Two decades of research later, their work revealed recurring molecular abnormalities that drive implantation failure and miscarriage. This scientific discovery supported women involved in the study to have the families they longed for. Now it is available to fertility specialists as the PRELI test.
